The four injured doctors – Catherine Halam, Mahesh Kumar, Jitender Mourya and Abhinava Singh – have been recovering at the Jai Prakash Narayan Trauma Center, AIIMS. Catherine, who had suffered a hip dislocation and facial fractures, was operated upon by a team of doctors led by Dr Rajesh Malhotra, chief of JPNATC. She has now been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit and will take at least a week to get discharged. The others will be discharged on Thursday.

All the seven doctors were from the same batch at the Department of Emergency Medicine and had completed their shift together when they started for Agra in a car.

AIIMS held a condolence meet on Wednesday for the three doctors who lost their lives.
