Prakash was medically examined at Delhi government’s Aruna Asaf Ali Hospital on Tuesday night as he complained of “painful neck movements, pain behind both ears and the right eye.”

The Delhi police has mentioned the report in the FIR against two AAP MLAs and 11 others. AAP spokesperson Saurabh Bharwaj rubbished Prakash’s charges of assault and pointed to a “delay” in the FIR registration and the medical examination.

“Criminal offence investigation mandates that the victim should be presented by the police for a medical examination at the earliest. The Chief Secretary waited for 12 hours to file an FIR and another 12 hours for his medical examination,” he said.

AAP also cited medical examination reports of some of its members and claimed that they had been assaulted.
