Sources told DNA that the boy was located last in Chandni Chowk area. Therefore, Delhi Police has been approached to try and find him there. Family members have also appealed to the son, who has been missing since the incident, to return home.

A senior officer of the Greater Noida police said, "After the incident came to light, we had put the phone, which the boy had taken along with him, on surveillance. That's how we found out his last location on Monday night."

"However, the phone has been switched off thereafter. Pictures and details of the boy have been posted at various platforms to seek public assistance in tracing him. We have also announced a reward for any information regarding his location."

"We have formed four teams to trace the boy and hope to find him soon. Only he can tell the truth about what happened inside the apartment," said Luv Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police.
