Merc stolen, crime caught on camera

A burglary incident was caught on tape where four men were seen barging into a motor shop in west Delhi’s Moti Nagar and then driving away with a Mercedes Benz Car and a safe containing Rs 10 lakh along with a licensed firearm. Police are trying to trace the accused.

According to the police, the incident took place on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday around 2.30 am. In the video, four persons were seen arriving at the motor shop in a Baleno car, after which they barge into the shop.

“They got inside the National Motor’s shop in Moti Nagar and drove away a Mercedes Benz Car, having registration number DL3CBK 1717, and a heavy safe containing cash Rs 10 lakh. According to the owner, there was also a licensed firearm in the safe. 

Their movements have been captured in CCTV footage and efforts to identify them or trace the vehicle used by them are being made,” said a senior police officer.
