Massive fire in South Delhi’s Malviya Nagar, 30 tenders on spot, no casualties so far
A massive fire broke out in a rubber godown in South Delhi’s Malviya Nagar area on Tuesday. According to TV reports, thick plumes of smoke could be seen from as far as Greater Kailash.
Around 30 fire engines have reached the spot. According to GC Mishra, director, Delhi Fire Services, the fire broke out in the Khirki Extension area. Residents staying in the nearby building were being evacuated.
Mishra said that it would take around five hours to extinguish the fire. No casualties have been reported so far.
