Delhi Police arrested a man after two years, who had killed his landlord on being slapped for peeing in front of his house in July 2015. Police said that the tenant, with his friends, had stabbed the owner of the house multiple times after he had objected to his peeing and had slapped him.

According to the police, it was on July 22, 2015, that Hans Raj, a driver by profession and a resident of village Shahbad Daulatpur on Main Bawana Road, lodged a complaint, that in the morning when he was in balcony of his house, he saw two persons including Naveen, one of his tenants, were peeing near his house.

"In the meantime, Raj's brother Bhram alias Monu, who is also a driver came. Seeing Naveen peeing, Monu also objected. After this, Raj came down and both the brothers argued with Naveen. In the meantime, Naveen's friends also arrived and the argument turned ugly as Naveen threatened to kill the two brothers. Meanwhile, the police reached on the spot," said DCP Rohini, Rajneesh Gupta.

Gupta added that when the police drove away after some time, Naveen and his friends again arrived on the spot, armed with knives. They attacked Raj and Monu, and stabbed Monu multiple times leaving him bleeding profusely.

The two brothers were rushed to a nearby hospital where Monu was declared brought dead by the doctors while Raj was admitted for treatment, police said.

While the accused Parveen, Pardeep, Deepak and Anil had been arrested earlier, in this case, one Joni remained absconding for the past two years. The DCP said, "It was only on Sunday that we received information that Joni would come near Mahadev Chowk in Shahbad Dairy area. On this, a trap was laid and Joni was arrested."
