Puneet Goyal, Commissioner South Delhi Municipal Council (SDMC) said that the implementation of this project has brought cleanliness in the area. "The Compactor Station catered to large areas resulting into lesser number of Dhalaos in the area. 5-7 trips of garbage from FCTS to the Waste Energy Plant per day results in non-accumulation of garbage at the Dhalao and also contributes to decreased volume/weight of the garbage," Goyal said.

According to Goyal, 15 of such stations have been installed in the central zone. LG Baijal said that more such compactor stations and FTCS facility should be set up according to the needs and requirements. Baijal also dedicated newly-procured Heavy Duty Bulldozers and excavators for managing the landfill site to the citizens of Delhi adding that the SDMC has also directed that more such scientific projects for solid waste management are needed in Delhi.
