Lady Shri Ram College cut-off for BA at 98.75%, tops Delhi University

The highest cut-off this year is 98.75 per cent for BA (programme) in Lady Shri Ram College.

The Delhi University released their first cut-off lists on Monday for admissions in undergraduate courses. The overall cut-off has increased marginally by 0.75 per cent in Economics (H) and 0.25 in B.Com (H), from last year. Final trends were still being awaited at the time of the filing of this report.

The highest cut-off this year is 98.75 per cent for BA (programme) in Lady Shri Ram College.

The cut-off for Journalism (Hons) has also witnessed a jump this time. Delhi College for Arts and Commerce (DCAC) announced highest cut off for the course at 98.50 per cent which is 1.50 percent higher than last year's 97 percent. Officials cite high demand as the reason for the rise in cut off.

"Around 80,000 aspirants have applied for the course against the availability of 230. The cut off was meant to be high as we decide cut offs based on the applications received," said a member of University's admission committee. Only 7 colleges across DU offers the course.

Surprisingly, the highest cut-off is reported from Shivaji College with 98 per cent in B com (H).

However, SGTB Khalsa college that had surprised everyone by announcing highest cut-off in all streams last year, witnessed a considerable drop this time.

Other Colleges

The cut-off for Eco (H) and BCom (H) at SRCC settled at 98.50 and 97.75% respectively. At DCAC, the highest cut-off settled at 98.5%, which is 1.5% higher than last year
