A 27-year-old woman was allegedly raped and assaulted several times by the son of a Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader from Kaithal in Haryana. Police have arrested two people, including a woman in connection with the case. The leader's son is absconding.

According to the police, the accused have been identified as Udayveer Singh Tanwar, son of Rao Surendra Singh  from Kaithal. Tanwar had allegedly, along with his friends Radhika Agarwal and Yash Saarda, planned to rape the woman.

"All these are false allegations and self-created stories," BJP leader Singh told DNA. However, he hasn't spoken to his son yet.

According to the complainant, she was taken to Udayveer's house in Sector 47 of Noida by Radhika, where the complainant was drugged by the three accused.

"Udayveer forcefully had sex with me and made a video, too. Later, the three started blackmailing by sending me messages to buy drugs for them and have sex with Udayveer. They said if I refused, they'd tell my husband," the complainant said.

Later, Udayveer told me that he wanted to go to Manali and forced me to pay for the trip, drugs and his drinks as well, the complainant added.

"After being left with no option, I took all three of them to Manali. There, he forced me to drink water laced with drugs and repeatedly had non-consensual sex with me. On the night of June 14, he drugged me again and had repeated unnatural sex with me. I left for Delhi next day as I was in pain," she said.

According to the complainant, Udayveer came to her house with a pistol on June 18 and threatened her with severe consequences if she told anyone about the incident. "He said he would kill my family and throw acid at my face if I told anyone," the woman said.

Police said the complainant approached the police on June 30 and following her complaint a case under Section 376(rape), 377 (unnatural sex) and several other relevant Sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) were registered.
"Following the complaint, we have arrested Radhika and Yash while Udayveer is still absconding. We have formed teams to nab him," said Avnish Dixit, Station House officer, Sector 49 police station, Noida.
