While cops say that an accidentally fired pistol led to his death, family members alleged that Nasir was murdered by his friends.
An owner of a club in Shalimar Bagh was found shot dead under mysterious circumstances while he was at the club with three friends. Nasir was one of the joint owners of Onn Lounge in DT Mall.
While cops say that an accidentally fired pistol led to his death, family members alleged that Nasir was murdered by his friends. They pointed out that the weapon made it to the premises despite the security check at the mall and the club.
“Neither did he have a pistol, nor did he ever borrow it from anyone,” said Abaad Khan, his uncle. Eyewitnesses say the four were partying when Nasir whipped out a gun, placed it on his temple and fired. “CCTV footage corroborated the eyewitness’ version,” said Aslam Khan, DCP, North-West.
The family’s theory is that his friends showed him an unloaded pistol, and loaded it when he went to the washroom. They then coerced him into playfully firing it on himself.
