Delhi Police nabs two terrorists planning to spread terror

It is being said that both the terrorists are related to Jaish-e-Mohammed and both had conspired to carry out a bomb blast in Delhi.

In a major success, the Delhi Police has foiled a huge conspiracy to spread terror in the national capital. The Special Cell of Delhi Police has nabbed two terrorists from the Sarai Kale Khan area. It is being said that both the terrorists are related to Jaish-e-Mohammed and both had conspired to carry out a bomb blast in Delhi.

The police recovered 2 semi-automatic pistols and 10 live cartridges from their possession. The terrorists, both native of Jammu and Kashmir and in their early 20s, have been identified as Abdul Latif Mir and Mohammad Ashraf. 

At least rounds of ammunition have been recovered.

According to Delhi Police officials, a trap was laid near Millennium Park in Sarai Kale Khan around 10.15 pm on Monday night and arrested the duo.

After the arrest, a joint team of intelligence agencies and special cell are interrogating both the terrorists.

Meanwhile, the police have been carrying out at several other locations in the national capital in connection with the arrest of the terrorists.
