DDA Housing Scheme 2021: Today is the last day to apply for 1350 flats, check other details

Today (February 16) is the last day to apply for Delhi Development Authority (DDA) Hosuing Scheme 2021 under which 1,350 DDA flats are up for sale in Delhi. According to a DDA spokesperson, around 27,000 applications have been received by DDA and over 15,000 have paid up the booking amount.

The spokesperson added that 10,147 people have applied for HIG and MIG units which are in the range of over Rs 1 crore and Rs 2 crore. The spokesperson said that around 3,245 from the Economically Weaker Section category have paid the booking amount.

The DDA flats which are up for sale are located at Dwarka, Jasola, Manglapuri, Rohini and Vasant Kunj in Delhi. According to DDA, the time of applications will end at midnight of February 16. The draw of lots will take place on March 5.

For EWS units, the application amount is Rs 25,000, for LIG it is Rs 1 lakh. For middle income group (MIG) and higher income group (HIG) units, the application amount is fixed at Rs 2 lakh. DDA said that 215 HIG flats are located near Jasola Vihar-Shaheen Bagh Metro station and 15 flats are in Vasant Kunj.

In the 3-BHK category of HIG, 215 flats are on offer in Jasola, Pocket 9B. These flats are in the price range of Rs 1.97 crore to 2.14 crore. The HIG flats, which are are on offer in Vasant Kunj, are in the price range of Rs 1.43 crore to Rs 1.72 crore.

A total of 352 MIG flats are located in Dwarka Sector 19-B, 348 in Dwarka Sector 16, and 4 in Vasant Kunj. 

The DDA Housing scheme 2021 is linked to the credit-linked subsidy scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Housing for All (Urban).

The DDA has launched the scheme online through its newly developed AWAAS software. The AWAAS software allows applicants to complete all the formalities for the application, payment, and possession online.

It may be recalled that the DDA Housing Scheme was last launched in March 2019.
