Newly-anointed Congress President Rahul Gandhi attended the Republic Day Parade and was allotted a seat in the sixth row, two rows behind what was earlier believed to be his assigned seating. The seating led to an outcry from the Congress, whose leaders accused the BJP-led NDA government of indulging in “cheap politics”.
