Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that a committee has been set up to keep a check on schools in Ghaziabad that have arbitrarily raised fees.
"We have already set up a committee which is working towards the fee hike issue and promise the parents that no student will suffer," he said. The Chief Minister said that already a number of agitated parents had approached the government in regard to this issue.
The CM announced the formation of the committee on Thursday in Ghaziabad when he was there to lay the foundation stone for the Kailash Mansarovar Bhavan. The Bhawan — a transit house for pilgrims of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, Kanwad Yatra and Char Dham Yatra — will be constructed in Indirapuram.
The UP CM was spoke about the plan PM Modi had shared with the nation during his speech on Independence Day.
"Uttar Pradesh is a big state and we are going to help PM Modi's vision of 2022. We are working towards providing the poor with concrete houses, farmers shall double their incomes, youth and women will get ample opportunities. We will get an India free of casteism, terrorism, corruption, nepotism — a clean India," he said.
Speaking about the Kailash Mansarovar Bhavan, CM said that once constructed, the building will be a symbol of national integration and help boost tourism in the state. He also blamed previous governments for not allowing construction of the Bhawan.
