Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari and BJP national secretary Dr Anil Jain held a meeting on Saturday to take stock of the preparations.
The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up for the party's national council meeting scheduled to be held on January 11 and 12 at Ramlila Maidan. Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari and BJP national secretary Dr Anil Jain held a meeting on Saturday to take stock of the preparations.
Jain said this will be the largest meeting before the Lok Sabha elections next year. He said 12,000 delegates from every district of the country would participate in the meeting. He also said Prime Minister Narendra Modi, national president Amit Shah, Union ministers, national and pradesh office bearers, and other leaders will participate in the meeting.
Tiwari, meanwhile, said 24 other departments, headed by separate workers, have been formed for preparations of the meeting. Delhi Pradesh co-in charge Tarun Chugh said the 24 departments will make arrangements for receiving delegates arriving at the airport and railway stations from all the other districts, and ensuring lodging and boarding facilities for them to and from Ramlila Maidan.
12,000 delegates from every district of the country would participate, while PM Modi or party president Amit Shah may also attend
