As the preparations are in full swing at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan for the 'Bharat Bachao rally' organised by Congress party to attack the Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the Centre, Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory detailing all the routes and diversions that have been made. The rally will be held later on Saturday.

As the preparations are in full swing at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan for the 'Bharat Bachao rally' organised by Congress party to attack the Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the Centre, Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory detailing all the routes and diversions that have been made. The rally will be held later on Saturday.
According to reports, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and former PM Manmohan Singh are expected to take part in the rally.
The advisory states that no commercial vehicle from Delhi Gate and Rajghat towards JLN Marg will be allowed.
Along with this, commercial vehicles will be restricted from Guru Nanak Chowk to Ajmeri Gate, Kamla Market towards Hamdard, DDU Minto Light Point towards Kamla Market, Ajmeri Gate to Hamdard Chowk and Mirdard to Turkman Gate.

The traffic police also advised about the diversion points for buses, if required depending upon the number of people participating in the rally.
"Keeping in view the meeting traffic will be affected on the given route. General public and motorists are advised to avoid the above routes on 14.12.2019 and follow the directions of the traffic policemen posted on roads and remain updated through Traffic Police Facebook page, Twitter handler and Traffic Police Helpline to avoid inconvenience," the advisory added.

Congress is holding a huge 'Bharat Bachao' rally at Ramlila Maidan against the "anti-people policies" of the Centre plans to target the government on issues including the state of the economy, unemployment, and farmers' issues.
