Swift and alert police personnel, on patrolling duty, nabbed a robber who, along with his four other associates, had robbed a man at knifepoint in Dwarka on Friday.

According to the police, the police control room was informed about the incident at 10:44 pm on Friday. Vishal Kumar told the police that he was on his way to a relative's house in Sector-5 area in Madhu Vihar when around five persons, at knife point, robbed him off his mobile phone, wallet containing around Rs 7,200, and his bag.

PCR van in-charge, ASI Subhash and Driver ASI Dharamveer Singh swung into action and took the complainant with them for identification of the robbers. The robbers were identified as Aman, Vijay and Sunni. The mobile phone was recovered from Aman.

A case under appropriate sections was registered at Dwarka South police station. A manhunt has been launched to nab the other accused persons. The PCR Staff have been recommended for a suitable reward.
