CRICKET
The viral meme created by a Pakistani influencer on Instagram has taken the social media world by storm and has seen many people replicate the same
Pakistan cricket team on Sunday, jumped on the viral 'Pawri ho rahi hai' bandwagon after their series win against South Africa at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The meme created by Dananeer aka Geena, a 19-year old social media influencer from Pakistan has taken the world by storm and has become the trend as everyone has started sharing the happenings of their lives through the meme.
From students giving their exams to the ones who didn't have a partner to celebrate Valentine's day to some people taking a dig on others, the meme has become a rage on various social media platforms. So how could a cricket team stay away from the same?
Pakistan cricket team, after completing a 2-1 victory against South Africa in the three-match T20I series, gave an ode to their fellow country-person Dananeer by celebrating in a similar way. Fast-bowler Hasan Ali, who played a major role in getting his team to the finishing line with a quickfire knock of 7-ball 20 runs, hitting two maximums and a four took the centre stage in leading the team's celebrations.
In the video, Hasan is in the front, while his team in the back and he shouts with jubilation, "Yeh main hun, yeh meri team hai, aur hum series jeet gaye hain, aur hum 'Party' kar rahe hain (This is me, that's my team, we have won the series and we are having a party)."

As soon as Hasan Ali shouted the word, party the whole team went into a frenzy and started hooting. The viral meme has seen many recreations, tributes and many other odes.
After David Miller's masterclass knock of 85 runs off just 45 balls, Pakistan needed 165 runs to win to put the series in the bag after South Africa levelled in the second game. Pakistan were off to a great start with Mohammad Rizwan, Haider Ali and Babar Azam, but lost the plot in the middle losing 3 wickets in quick time. However, some late runs from Faheem Ashraf, Mohammed Nawaz and Hasan Ali helped their team get to the target with eight balls left and clinch the series 2-1, after a clean sweep of 2-0 in the Test series.
