There is no doubt India is a cricket-crazy country, especially the city of Mumbai, which has given India some of it's best cricketers.

And the fans in the country have every time demonstrated love for their favourite cricketers in the most unique ways possible.

However, a Mumbai-based artist Abaasaheb Shewale recently did something that might make him the best fan of Virat Kohli.

Keeping in mind Kohli's 30th birthday and Indian festival of Diwali which was just two days after Kohli's birthday, Abaasaheb created a mosaic of the cricketer at Seawoods Grand Central mall in Navi Mumbai.

It wasn't any ordinary mosaic. He created the mosaic using diyas aka earthen lamps. He used a total of 4482 diyas to create the artwork which has been widely appreciated by people.

Reportedly, he spent a total of Rs 10,000 on the project. It is also the world's largest mosaic ever created at 9.5 by 14 feet.

Speaking about his mosaic to a leading Indian news portal, the artist said, "Virat is shining like a bright light at the moment and with Diwali approaching, I thought this would be an apt way to pay tribute. As his birthday is on

November 5 and that is also the day Diwali is starting this year, it felt the right thing to do.

I sourced the clay lamps from the market and painted them all by myself. But as we had to assemble the entire portrait in a night, six of us had to pitch in to finish it on time."
