Indian women's cricket teams superstars, Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana will be leading the respective lines for Supernovas and the Trailblazers in the newest edition of the Women’s T20 Challenge 2019.
The latest addition ahead of this season is team Velocity, which will be led by Mithali Raj. Each team will play the other once, with the final to be held on 11 May.
A total of 39 players will take part in the tournament, with each squad consisting of 13 players (four overseas cricketers in each squad).
While on paper, the Trailblazers have an edge over Supernovas with stalwarts like Smriti Mandhana, Jhulan Goswami, Suzie Bates, the presence of some youngsters in the Supernovas will account for an interesting battle between the two sides.
