The all-rounder scored 25 runs when his side was asked to bat first, but when he came into bowl, he got the prized scalps of Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and AB de Villiers.

He first clean bowled Kohli. The RCB skipper had decided to go down the pitch but was nowhere close to the pitch of the ball, and doesn't adjust either to bail out with defence. The ball sneaked through, and uprooted leg-stump. Kohli was Harpreet's maiden IPL wickets.

The on his very next ball, he got the wicket of in-form all-rounder Maxwell. While Kohli's was leg-stump, Maxwell's was off. Maxwell foxed even more after going back in his crease. He misread the length and stayed flat-footed, wafting tentatively away from his body, only for the ball to spin and hit the outside of off-stump.

In Harpreet's next over, he sent back de Villiers. It was a short one, sticking in the pitch, and made a proper mess of AB's timing. RCB's batsman looked to slap, and could only drag it straight down short cover's throat where KL Rahul caught it.

So who is Harpreet Brar?

Harpreet Brar, who is born on September 16, 1995, was bought by the Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) in the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL).

He made his T20 debut for Kings XI Punjab on April 20, 2019, against Delhi Capitals (DC) at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

As for club matches, Harpreet once hit five sixes in an over.
