On Day three of the third Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Paine once again came up with a cracking sledge and commentators couldn't stop themselves from brekaing into massive laughter.

Paine-led Australia allowed the Indians to concede a huge lead after they were bowled out for a mere total of 190 on Thursday. Paine was witnessing a fierce comeback from his side, thanks to Pat Cummins' spell whose next target was Rishabh Pant, who walked into the field when Team India was five-down.

Paine thought it was a great opportunity to get under the skin of the youngster, who is known for his aggressive batting style. A clever Paine used the reference of MS Dhoni'sreturnn to get a crack at Pant.

“Tell you what big MS is back in the one-day squad. Should get this bloke down to Hurricanes.. They need a batter. Fancy that extends your Aussie holiday, beautiful town Hobart too... get him waterfront apartment

Have him over for dinner. Do you babysit? I can take my wife to the movies while you watch the kids," Paine said.

On Thursday, the Australian player’s body raised objections about the use of stump microphones. The move was understandable as Paine and even Pant himself have been chatting away to glory behind the stumps throughout the series.
