The official handle of the International Cricket Council (ICC) shared a video where Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Mohammed Shami, KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah tried their best but funny attempts at the challenge.

ICC captioned it saying, "India put to the test in nerve-wracking game. Indian Cricket Team stars are put to the test with a game made famous by one of the world's most talked about shows."

The 'Squid Game' has become one of the most popular shows recently after its release on Netflix on September 17. While it was all fun and games for the Indian players, it's not so much fun in the show as the 'Dalgona Candy challenge' requires players to carve out the shape of candy and if they are not able to do it in the specified time period, there are deadly consequences for the same.

Most of them were finding it really difficult to complete the challenge at the start but Rohit and Shami were able to finish it. However, Surya, Bumrah, Varun and Rahul failed in the challenge.

Team India won both their warm-up games and will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in their tournament opener on Sunday, October 24.
