Kohli being the home captain flipped the coin and Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson called Tails, but it was Heads as the coin fell on the ground. However, after shaking hands, Kohli turned back and it was Samson, who came forward but he was also puzzled about what really happened till everyone realised that Kohli actually won the toss.

After Virat Kohli realised saying, "Oh I won the toss, sorry!" He came to the mike and told Ian Bishop "I am not used to winning tosses," and everyone had a laugh.

Finally, after getting the call right, Kohli decided to bowl first at the Wankhede Stadium saying that irrespective of amount of dew, chasing is the best option in Mumbai, where RCB is playing their first game of this season.
