Watch: Peter Siddle drops simple catch in Boxing Day Test, gets trolled on Twitter for his 'contribution'

Peter Siddle is not a part of Australia playing 11 for the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne. However, the pacer was center of attraction and action on day two at the MCG.

It was not a great day for Siddle who missed a simple chance during India's first innings. 

Australia were poor in the field overall and dropped at least five chances. One of them was a simple chance off Nathan Lyon, when Rohit Sharma launched into a big shot and top-edged the sweep shot to Siddle, who was filling in for Pat Cummins at short fine leg.

However, Siddle fumbled with hard hands and eventually dropped the ball. To make matters worse, Travis Head too dropped a catch in the same over.
