Kyle Jamieson after making his debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the first game against Mumbai Indians, was on a rampage as he was taking wickets, causing problems for the opposition batsmen because of his height and breaking bats.

In the 19th over of the Mumbai Indians' innings, Jamieson bowled a toe-crushing yorker but Krunal Pandya brought his bat down in time and jammed it but as soon as he made an attempt to run, the bat was in two pieces. Krunal had just the handle in his hand as the entire wooden piece was off and on the ground.

Jamieson, who was picked up by the Bangalore-based franchise for a whopping sum of INR 15 crores, was featuring in the first game of his IPL career. RCB were in desperate need of a wicket after Suryakumar Yadav and Chris Lynn had stitched a fast partnership to rebuild the innings for the Mumbai Indians after losing Rohit Sharma.

Jamieson returned for his third over in the 11th over of the innings when Mumbai Indians were flying and were looking dangerous for a big total. But, the tall pacer had other plans.

He used his height to the fullest extent as he bowled a shorter delivery outside the off-stump and Surya tried to cut the ball away but could only get an outside edge into the hands of the wicket-keeper AB de Villiers.
