Watch: 'It's a yes' for Deepak Chahar as he proposes to his girlfriend after CSK vs PBKS match

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) pacer Deepak Chahar and his team had a tough day in the field against the Punjab Kings as they chased down the 135-run total in just 13 overs but it became memorable for them off the field after the match had ended.

In what seemed pre-planned, Deepak Chahar bent on his knees to propose to his girlfriend in the stands after the CSK vs PBKS game and she said yes.

In the video uploaded by Chahar on his Instagram, Chahar asked MS Dhoni's daughter Ziva to make a space for him to go on his knees as he presented the ring to his lady love as the owners, CEO of the franchise, friends, families of other CSK teammates around him were in jubilation.

Not just the people around him, the fans on social media too congratulated the couple, while some came up with hilarious reactions on the same as CSK lost the match pretty badly, which was their third loss in as many games. While many were wondering who the girl was as some reckoned she is a foreigner, but Chahar's sister Malti clarified on Twitter that she is a Delhi girl, Jaya Bharadwaj.

Chahar had a tough day in the field as he gave away 48 runs his quota of four overs and was able to get just one wicket as Punjab Kings owing to skipper KL Rahul's unbeaten knock of 98 runs off just 42 balls kept their chances alive of getting through to the playoffs.
