Indian captain Virat Kohli chose arguably the best way to prepare for Day 2 of the second Test against Sri Lanka .

The 29-year-old was seen playing with a security dog on Saturday morning at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a clip and a few pictures on Twitter in which the Indian captain could be seen in a playful mood with the adorable dogs.

 

"Sharing a light moment with man’s best friend - Captain @imVkohli before the start of day’s play," tweeted BCCI. "Captain @imVkohli's love-affair with dogs continues."

Kohli's love for dogs is well known. He often posts pictures on social media with Bruno, his furry friend. On Diwali, earlier this year, Kohli had posted a special message for his followers, in which he urged them to burst fewer crackers as they adversely affect dogs.
