Azhar Ali was caught unaware by a throw from the deep while having a chat with his partner Asad Shafiq halfway down the pitch.

During a Peter Siddle over, Ali edged a delivery past gully and the ball ran towards the rope. The Pakistan batsmen assumed that it was going for a four and started having a discussion in the middle of the pitch.

While Ali and Asad Shafiq were chatting mid-pitch, the ball stopped just short of the rope. Mitchell Starc picked up the ball and threw it to wicketkeeper Tim Paine who took off the bails.

After several reviews the third umpire ruled that it was indeed Azhar who was the one run out.
