Virender Sehwag shares video of T Natarajan's 'swagat' in Salem after Team India's historic win in Australia

Team India players have returned back home after they breached the Gabba fortress and got the side the historic 2-1 triumph over Australia. Stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane and his boys despite all odds and injuries stunned the Aussies and registered their second successive Test series triumph Down Under. 

The fourth and deciding clash between the two sides saw Australia losing a Test match at the Gabba in Brisbane for the first time since 1988.

Team India's spectacular show sent fans in a frenzy and expectedly, Rahane's Men in Blue received a grand welcome when they landed in India.

India's pacer Thangarasu Natarajan was taken on a chariot on arrival in his village in Salem district of Tamil Nadu. The bowler arrived in Chinnappampatti village in Salem district to a rousing reception and was taken on a chariot to his home in the village with people playing instruments.

Former India opener Virender Sehwag shared the video of the grand welcome and wrote, "Swagat nahi karoge? This is India. Here cricket is not just a game. It is so much more. Natarajan getting a grand welcome upon his arrival at his Chinnappampatti village in Salem district. What an incredible story"

Not just Natarajan, stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane, head coach Ravi Shastri, batsman Rohit Sharma, pacer Shardul Thakur, and opener Prithvi Shaw also reached Mumbai and got grand welcome at the airport. Fourth Test hero Rishabh Pant too landed in New Delhi early on Thursday morning.

Speedster Mohammed Siraj reached his home town Hyderabad and first visited the graveyard where his father is buried. His father had passed away while Siraj was in Australia. He had declined the team offer to visit Hyderabad to be with his family after his father's death.
