On the 2nd anniversary of the Pulwama terror attack, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag paid homage to the security personnel who lost their lives.

Remembering the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldiers killed in the attack, Sehwag took to social media to salute the brave hearts.

The two-time World Cup winner Sehwag paid a rich tribute to the slain Indian soldiers. "Heartfelt Tributes to all Our Bravehearts Martyred in the #PulwamaAttack on Feb 14, 2019. The valour and sacrifice of our heroes will be remembered forever. Jai Hind," Sehwag said in a post shared on Instagram.

He even took to Twitter and shared photos of the martyrs' children studying at Sehwag School and said that 'nothing can beat this happiness'.

"Very privileged to have been able to contribute in a small way in the lives of son of our heroes of #PulwamaAttack who have been studying at @SehwagSchool. Batsman-Arpit Singh s/o Shaheed Ram Vakeel & Bowler-Rahul Soreng s/o Shaheed Vijay Soreng. Nothing can beat this happiness".

The terrorist attack was carried out by Jaish-e-Mohammad - a Pakistan-based terror group. The CRPF personnel were killed after a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden vehicle in Kashmir's Pulwama.
