Century for RCB! Virat Kohli-led side achieve 100th win in IPL history against Delhi Capitals

A last ball SIX by Srikar Bharat helped Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) achieve their 100th win in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Virat Kohli-led side became the 4th franchise to win 100 IPL games in their penultimate fixture of the league against Delhi Capitals (DC).

Prior to this match, RCB had 99 wins to their name from 209 matches. They became the 4th franchise to reach the 100-win mark with Mumbai Indians (MI), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) being the other three.

Rohit Sharma's MI sit at the top with a total of 126 wins from 216 matches, while MS Dhoni-led Super Kings are next on the list with 115 wins from 192 matches. It has to also be noted that CSK were not a part of IPL for two seasons.

As for KKR, they follow Chennai at the No. 3 spot, having won 105 matches of their 205 matches in the cash-rich franchise league. 

As for the clash, RCB defeated DC by seven wickets in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 encounter at the Dubai International Stadium on Friday. Srikar Bharat's unbeaten 78 and Glenn Maxwell 51 not-out helped RCB beat the table-toppers in their final league match.

As for the qualifiers, RCB will now face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as their next contender.
