Paranjape played 29 first-class games for Mumbai and Baroda from 1956 to 1970. He scored 785 runs including two centuries and two half-centuries. The man had shaped the careers of several Mumbai based Indian stalwarts.
As for the clash, the fourth Test saw Joe Root put India to bat first. While England made three changes to their side, India had forced injury changes, however, still no room for R Ashwin.
Ollie Pope is in for Jos Buttler and Chris Woakes comes in for Sam Curran for the England side while India makes 2 changes in Ishant and Shami have niggles - Umesh and Shardul are back.
Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin`s wait to play continues as India went on with spin all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. "England got four left-handers and we thought it is a good matchup for Jadeja," India captain Virat Kohli said.
