Usain Bolt explains 'social distancing' in the most Olym-pic way

Every sports personality is using all mediums possible to make fans understand the seriousness of the coronavirus pandemic. The COVID-19 has got all sporting events to a halt.

Now taking the baton in his hands, runner Usain Bolt has used his Olympic track race image to explain social-distancing. The 33-year-old shared a picture of him from the Beijing Olympics where he can be seen outstripping his rivals.

One of the main attractions of the 2008 Olympics was after Boult won the 100m and did the chest-thumping celebration in Beijing.

The sprint legend even went on to win the 200m title in another world-record time. He retired in 2017 with eight Olympic gold medals and the current 100m world-record mark of 9.58sec, set in 2009. 

In India, sports stars are not just spreading the message but have also made contributions to help the nation fight the deadly virus. The Indian PM Narendra Modi spoke to sports personalities and asked them to keep spreading awareness.

The lockdown which was till April 14 has now been extended till May 3.
