Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa has finally after two postponements tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Hattie last week in New South Wales. Zampa was supposed to get married last year after the IPL, but due to COVID-19 restrictions and national commitments he couldn't and similarly this year, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Director of Cricket Operation Mike Hesson had said that Zampa would arrive late because of his wedding but due to quarantine restrictions and delay in his arrival in India because of it meant, the wedding was postponed again.

However, now finally since things have opened up in Australia and Zampa too had time on his hands, before he leaves with the Australian contingent for tours of West Indies and Bangladesh, they finally got hitched last week in a private ceremony.

Hattie Palmer, Zampa's long-time girlfriend and now wife, took to Instagram and shared a couple of pictures from the beautiful wedding. "Our faces all day. So overwhelmed with love and happiness finally, Mr & Mrs #hatsofftozamps," she captioned.

Kate Villa, the designer of Hattie's gown and the company that planned their wedding shared another picture captioning, "These two @hattiepalmer & @zampstagram deserve all the happiness in the world! Third time planning a wedding thanks to covid and they finally tied the knot last week."

Zampa's teammates congratulated the couple, while he described Hattie as a 'goddess'. Australian limited-overs skipper Aaron Finch's wife and Steve Smith's wife, Amy and Dani Willis respectively congratulated the couple as well.

As soon as the pictures of the 29-year old's wedding surfaced on social media, Twitter was filled with jokes around Marcus Stoinis feeling sad while seeing Zampa getting hitched to somebody else as everyone knows they share a 'special bond'.
