Holding was brutally trolled on Twitter after India beat England by 203 runs in the Trent Bridge test.

Holding had criticised Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah before the match. However, the two ended up being the heroes of India victory. While all-rounder Hardik Pandya produced a fiery spell of 5/28 in the first innings and then scored a quick-fire half-century, Jasprit Bumrah picked up five wickets in the second innings to help India come back in the series.

Holding had questioned Pandya's selection in the Tests saying 'he is nowhere near Kapil Dev'.

Holding had also criticised Jasprit Bumrah calling him 'not a new ball bowler'. He had earlier said that he would not pick Bumrah for the England series.

But after Pandya and Bumrah starred in India's win, Twitterati were quick to hit back at Holding:

India crushed England by 203 runs in the second Test at Trent Bridge on Wednesday. India, who were trailing 0-2 going into the third Test now have widely opened the series at 1-2 with two more games left in the ongoing series.
