1. Aakash Chopra slams Shahid Afridi over 'Indians asking forgiveness' remark
Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi's remarks saying, "I have always enjoyed India. Unhe to theek-thaak mara hai humne. Itna mara hai unhe ki match ke baad maafiyan mangi hai unhone. (We’ve thrashed them a lot. I believe we’ve beaten them so much that they used to ask us for forgiveness after the match),” has not gone down well by commentator Aakash Chopra.
The former India batsman has responded to the recent remarks about the Indian cricket team on the Cric Cast show on Youtube. Chopra pointed out certain stats stating that there was a balance between the two teams who have performed fairly equal in Tests and ODIs during Afridi’s time. However, when it came to T20Is, India were way ahead.
The Indian cricket team are set to tour Australia later this year in a much-awaited series between the two nations.
While fans across the globe are absolutely ecstatic about the fourth coming Test series, Aussie head coach Justin Langer is also equally excited by the prospect of watching Indian skipper Virat Kohli go up against Pat Cummins and Jasprit Bumrah take on Steve Smith and David Warner.

The Australian Grand Prix did not go as planned for Lewis Hamilton, who lost his podium spot after receiving a fat 5-second penalty on Sunday (July 5).

Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly answers fans' questions through a video organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). BCCI had asked fans to send in their questions using #DadaOpensWithMayank hashtag.
One question asked was, "Sachin Paji always forced you to take the strike while opening with you in ODIs? Myth? Reality?" to which Dada answered that it was he who always used to take the strike when the duo came out to open the batting for India.
