The pink-ball Test will be the first international match at the rebuilt Motera stadium.

The 3rd Test between India and England will take place at the newly built Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad and the ticket sale for the same has begun from Sunday, February 14.
The pink-ball Test will be the first international match at the rebuilt Motera stadium, which is the largest in the world with a capacity of 1,10,000 spectators capacity.
India and England will play the 3rd and 4th Test at the same venue for which 50 per cent crowd will be allowed. The 2nd Test in Chennai saw fans back at the stadium.
This is the first time crowd was seen at the stadium in India post the COVID-19 pandemic. More than 12,000 fans watched Day 1 action of the 2nd Test at MA Chidambaram Stadium on Saturday.
As for the 3rd Test, it will get underway on February 24 and the online sale of the tickets will get underway at 11 am IST on Sunday. The tickets are priced between Rs 300 and Rs 1000.
Dhanraj Nathwani, vice president of Gujarat Cricket Association, thanked BCCI and secretary Jay Shah for allocating 2 Tests and 5 T20Is at the Motera stadium.

The stadium had earlier hosted the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy knockout matches. England are 1-0 up against India in the 4 Tests they play. This series is part of the World Test Championship. The two sides will also play 5 T20Is and 3 ODIs.
After the completion of the T20I series, the action for ODIs will shift to Pune.
