'This year gets even worse': Cricketers mourn death of Dean Jones

Former Australia batsman Dean Jones, who was considered one of the best players for the side, has died at the age of 59 after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest.

Jones was part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 commentary team and was put in a bio-bubble hotel in Mumbai. 

The death of the legend has shocked one and all and cricketers and IPL franchises took to Twitter to mourn the demise of Dean Jones.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Dean Jones. He was always a fantastic bloke to have a yarn with around a cricket field. I remember in Canada one of his stories was so funny I actually forgot to warm up to bowl pre-game. RIP.

After retiring from cricket, Jones became an active commentator and in some channels, he was known as Professor Deano for his expert analysis and commentary.
