A lot of verbal banter was caught on the stump mics that got netizens talking. One verbal spat that got all the attention was that between Indian skipper Virat Kohli and England pacer James Anderson.
Anderson and Jasprit Bumrah were seen having a dispute after the veteran bowler faced bouncers while batting on Day 3. However, while Kohli and Anderson had a spat, the Indian captain reminded him about his fight with Bumrah.
While initially only what Kohli said was heard on the stump mic, but now it has been revealed that while Kohli was making his way back into the crease at the non-striker's end, he heard Anderson say, "You f**king prick".
Kohli initially had complained to the umpire, but responded by saying, "You calling me 'f**king pr*ck' for running? Huh? This ain't your f**king backyard,”.
Anderson must have again said something which was inaudible and Kohli was heard saying, "Yeah yeah yeah, Chirp chirp chirp. This is what old age makes you."

As for the clash, the Indian men's cricket team turned tables in London and won an almost losing match after a lot of drama on Day 5.
After the mammoth 151 runs victory in the second Test match, India have taken a 1-0 lead in the five-match series after the first Test ended in a draw due to rain.
Kohli now became the third Indian captain after Kapil Dev (1986), and Mahendra Singh Dhoni (2014) to register a Test win at the 'Mecca of Cricket'.
