'This means so much to us': Wrestling fans go gaga over Drew McIntyre's Royal Rumble win

Drew McIntyre beat the WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg to win the 2021 WWE Royal Rumble. Not just the Wrestling world, all the sports fans were eagerly waiting for this mega clash since the start of the month when the 54-year challenged the WWE Championship winner after he retained his title on Monday Night RAW.

The game started even before the bell, outside the ring when McIntyre used a spear against Goldberg and the latter put the defending champion through a barricade.

The power-packed clash started with both pumping one blow after another on each other, it almost looked like the veteran will turn the tables on the defending champion, however, Drew McIntyre dug deep and pinned down Goldberg in the latter stages of the match after hitting the Claymore to retain his title.

After the match, both hugged each other and the endearing moment took the fans of the game by storm and couldn't stop themselves to react on the same. Later, McIntyre shared the same on social media, thanking the WWE legend. Fans instead thanked the champion for winning the Royal Rumble and suggested that his win meant so much to them and the Wrestling world. The fans also couldn't stop appreciating the sportsman spirit shown by the two superstars before, during and after the game and the magical 'hug' summed the game up for them.

Drew was a big fan of Goldberg when he was growing up so him getting this match is so cool and glad it could happen. Was a good match as well in my opinion
