India opener Rohit Sharma has been the batting mainstay for the country ever since his debut in 2007. The right-handed batsman has also led Indian Premier League franchise Mumbai Indians to a record five titles. According to a report in Economic Times, the average monthly income in India is  Rs 32,800 and the average annual income for an Indian is around Rs 3,94,000.

Rohit Sharma is without doubt one of the highest-paid sports persons in India and according to Forbes, the explosive opener has an annual income of Rs 54.29 crore. Rohit earns Rs 7 crore per annum from his A+ BCCI contract and he gets Rs 15 crore for captaining Mumbai Indians in the IPL. Rohit Sharma is also the face of many reputed brands, including Adidas, Hublot watches, CEAT Tyres, etc.

Now, considering the massive Rs 54.29 crore annual earnings of Rohit Sharma, it would take the right-handed batsman just six hours to earn the average annual income in India.
