Match 33 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 in the UAE saw Sunriers Hyderabad (SRH) ask Delhi Capitals (DC) to bowl first. While David Warner is part of the playing XI for SRH, Steve Smith to miss this game.

 Jason Holder, Rashid Khan, Warner and Kane Williamson are four foreign players for Sunrisers Hyderabad while Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada, Marcus Stoinis and Shimron Hetmyer are for DC.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (Playing XI): David Warner, Wriddhiman Saha(w), Kane Williamson(c), Manish Pandey, Jason Holder, Abdul Samad, Kedar Jadhav, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed

The match was almost seen getting cancelled after T Natarajan was found COVID-19 positive and one of his close contacts involved all-rounder Vijay Shankar as well. 

However, "the rest of the (SRH) contingent including the close contacts underwent RT-PCR tests at 5 AM local time this morning and the test reports are negative." 

As for the clash and their stats, the SRH side has just two points from seven games and a very daunting task awaits them. As for Delhi Capitals, they need just two more wins to be almost certain of a playoff spot.
