The biggest talking point after the fourth ODI between India and South Africa on Saturday was the performance of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav.

Having tormented the Proteas in the first three matches with their guile, the wrist spinners were taken to the cleaners at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

On Monday, South African all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo, who blasted 23 off 5 balls to end the fourth ODI, even reflected on how his team has got the measure of the Indian spinners now.

"We have a good momentum now from the last game we played. We have come really far that victory because the guys have been working really hard in the nets and we have been very specific about our training (against spin),” said Phehlukwayo. “(In the last game) We were looking to be positive now. We got into good positions and tried to pick the ball, watch the ball and played really straight,” he added.

However, just as the hosts were getting a grip on the Indian spinners, they might just have to cope with an all new threat in the fifth ODI in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a video on their official Twitter handle on Monday, where none other than Mahendra Singh Dhoni can be seen bowling some venomous leg-spinners in the Indian cricket team's net session.

"Some left arm spin from @akshar2026 and slow leggies from @msdhoni. It's all happening at the spinner's nets," captioned BCCI their post.

Dhoni is seen having a bowl in the 'spinner's nets' along with Axar Patel. The batsman at the other end seems to be Dinesh Karthik. In the video, although the former India captain drops his first ball well short, he manages to get DK to mistime his second delivery.

While we're quite sure Dhoni isn't really going to send down leg-spinners in an ODI anytime soon, his proficiency at anything he does isn't surprising to us.
