'The Dravid effect': Krunal Pandya hugs Sri Lankan batsman Charith Asalanka, inspires hilarious reactions

Team India left-arm spinning all-rounder Krunal Pandya hugged Sri Lankan batsman Charith Asalanka during the first ODI between the two sides as the latter came down running into him after taking a quick single.

During the 22nd over of the Sri Lankan batting innings, Asalanka ran a quick single and at the non-striker's end, he ran straight into Krunal Pandya as both hugged each other properly saving one another from falling on the ground.

As soon as it happened on the field, the image soon went viral on social media and invited hilarious reactions.

Many suggested that it was the Rahul Dravid effect as the man-in-charge as the head coach is known for his calm and composure and the users said that he is integrated discipline and respect for the opposition in the team.
