Virat Kohli has been the epitome of consistency in the recent times and every time he comes out to bat, there is some or the other record made or broken by the Indian skipper.

After breaking legendary Sachin Tendulkar's record to become quickest to 10,000 One-Day International (ODI) runs, Kohli also overtook former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni, to become the fourth highest all-time run-getter for India in ODIs.

Foreseeing several more milestones will come Kohli’s way, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag opined that Kohli will not stop any time soon and he certainly has the capability of matching and breaking records held by some of the legends of the sport.

While Sehwag was sure that Kohli will break Tendulkar’s all landmarks but he singled out one record which Sehwag feels Kohli might not be able to break.

Tendulkar, who sits atop of both ODI and Test runs, played an astounding 200 Tests for India and notched up 15,921 runs at an average of 53.78.

Sehwag suggested that it will be difficult for Kohli to match Sachin's longevity and outnumber his record of 200 Tests for India.

“Everybody has this feeling that Virat Kohli will break all batting records. I have also said this many times that he is meant to break all records. Just one record which I feel won't be broken is playing 200 Test matches, which Sachin Tendulkar has set. For that you need to play cricket for at least 24 years," Sehwag was quoted as saying by India Today.

"Barring that Kohli might break all the records. Another thing which everybody keeps saying is the lack of good quality bowlers that Kohli is facing now. Other batsmen are playing against the same kind of bowlers but they aren't scoring as many runs," he added.

Sehwag, who has shared the dressing room with some of the greatest names in cricket like Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, and VVS Laxman to name a few, rated Kohli as one of the best players he has played with.

He said that almost all cricketers have had up and downs in their career and there was a phase when they struggled with the form which hasn't happened with Kohli yet.

"There is something special about him which is why he is scoring runs consistently. I have played with players like Tendulkar, Ganguly, Laxman, Dravid. Even they had ups and downs in their careers. But Kohli hasn't had that in his career till now," Sehwag added.
