The ongoing 2nd Test between England and West Indies saw a toss in delay due to rain at the Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester. West Indies won the toss and elected to field first.

The decision seems to be in favour of the Windies as England lost two early wickets. Right-arm off-spinner Roston Chase dismissed Rory Burns and Zak Crawley in the clash.

Seeing the match conditions, Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has praised Jason Holder's decision to bring in a spinner on the damp pitch of Manchester.

Tendulkar took to Twitter and said, "In the 1st session I noticed a few balls didn’t even carry to the keeper off fast bowlers indicating a lot of dampness in the pitch. Smart move by @Jaseholder98 to bring on a spinner on such a track where the odd ball may grip and the other may go straight. #ENGvWI".

West Indies have already taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match Test series against England. The victory at the Rose Bowl in Southampton saw the socially-distanced celebrations as the Windies won by 4 wickets.

With the return of captain Joe Root back in the squad, the batting lineup looks stronger for the host side as they will look to win and level the series 1-1. As for the Windies, they will look to maintain the momentum they earned.
