Dunedin pitch was especially difficult for batsmen from both sides. New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first. They looked alright until the score was 158/3. But then the squad struggled while Pakistani bowlers, Rumman Raees, Hasan Ali, and Shadab Khan significantly improved their performance from past two ODIs to restrict Kiwis at 257.

But when it was Pakistan's turn to bat, it felt like a race to run back to the pavilion. At one point in the match, Pakistan were reeling at 17/7.

Only the tenth wicket partnership between Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Khan and Mohammad Amir of 20 runs could be titled impressive given the non-stop fall of wickets.

New Zealand quick Boult dismissed openers Azhar Ali and Fakhar Zaman. Runout of Babar Azam set of the chain reaction and nothing could stand the havoc the pacer unleashed. To add fuel to the fire, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson pulled off a fantastic one-handed catch to send Hasan Ali packing.

Pakistan suffered a humiliating loss when the scoreboard showed they lost with a margin of massive 183 runs!
