India have to play two more matches in Asia Cup after confirming the final berth with a win against Pakistan in their Super 4 match on Sunday.

While Dhoni already has 10,000 runs in ODIs, his tally includes 174 runs for Asia XI. If Dhoni manages to add 95 runs in these two matches, he would become the fourth Indian to reach the figure after Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly.

MS Dhoni, however, has not scored many runs in the tournament so far. He has played just two innings with a duck against Hong Kong and 33 runs against Bangladesh. The Indian middle-order hasn't had many opportunities to score big runs in Asia Cup so far with Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan scoring heavily at the top.

India play Afghanistan in a dead rubber on Tuesday. Dhoni will look to score big before the all-important final on Friday.

Dhoni played his 505th international game across formats for country on Sunday to surpass Dravid and become the second-most capped player for India. Sachin leads the list with 665 matches for India.
