Mitchell Starc's wife Alyssa Healy 'facepalms' on seeing 'Australia's new No. 5' out for duck

India kept the winning momentum on as they defeated Australia 2-1 in the ODI series at home. 

The match saw many moments which will be talked about, like the Steve Smith-Aaron Finch miscommunication while batting to Virat Kohli's unbelievable catch to dismiss Marnus Labuschagne.

However, one, which should be discussed is Aussies sending in Mitchell Starc at number 5 in the batting order. This decision came as the visitors needed someone to accelerate the scoreboard. 

So, Starc, who has 354 runs in ODIs, was promoted up the order.

However, soon after coming on the field and facing two balls, he was sent back for a duck.

Fox Cricket tweeted a picture of Starc with the caption, “Australia’s new No.5 is… Mitchell Starc. He's out for a two-ball duck". 

The tweet got a lot of replies, but what stood out was the reply of Alyssa Healy. Starc's wife, who herself is a wicket keeper batsman, replied with a ‘facepalm emoji’. The emoji is generally used to express embarrassment.

When Starc departed, the scoreboard for Australia read 173 runs for the loss of four wickets. The following Australian batsmen made small contributions, while Steve Smith stood on one end, scoring runs.

The Australians put on a total of 287 runs to chase, and Virat Kohli and his men were made to chase. The Aussies tried all they could but Rohit Sharma's century with Kohli's 89 was enough to lead India towards victory.

India now travel to New Zealand for a full-fledged tour - 5 T20Is, 3 ODIs and 2 Tests - with the 1st T20I beginning on January 24.
